kids paintbrushes

I posted a tutorial album of how to make photoshop paintbrushes like the ones used in this picture of my daughter.

That's all I'm capable of right now. I'm feeling very anxious about my work. I don't even know why exactly. So I'm trying to work it out.

I will return to regular posting when I have sorted myself out.

I must try this as soon as I get my work out of the way. Thank you.

Geesh, you must have caught it from me- my "vision" (artistic that is) has gone blurry since after Christmas. I am pushing, pushing and I am hoping that I am getting a little closer to feeling on track again... anxious- exactly.

It is the anxious time of year.

I always wondered how to make brushes in photoshop, thank you. :)

& I'm feeling anxious too... I think Kirsten's got it right!

Your daughter is gorgeous!

Thank you Juju, this will be great to look at. Your daughter looks gorgeous, and I know my girls will love that background.

Take care of yourself and relax.

Thanks for the post- looks like magic!
I think you've had a lot happening @ the same time - work, car, wardrobe.. and in Spring everything is in a hurry: flowers, buds, birds... I think there is too much energy in the air, so much to do, so little time. I hope you can make the most of your week-end. I'll see what I can do to help remotely.. Lovely smile your daughter has.

oh sweets! be well. Take all the time you need.

Thought I would leave a comment after reading your post today. I often read your blog and feel inspired by it and all the lovely work that you do. It's great how you are willing to share it with other people. Looking forward to the bag tutorial...

Thank you, Thank you , Thank you, I am going to try it right now!

my grandmother used to say 'it's the spring that advances'.

Maybe she's right, I think we all feel like this.

spring fever? I hope it goes away soon!

What a wonderful photo montage! I love your daughter's dreamy look with her artwork as the background like the inner and outer worlds blending softly together. Your artwork in all the mediums you work in is fantastic! I always come here to be inspired by your originality, depth, unique combinations of colour and pattern and courage to forge into the unknown. I feel so gifted by your entries. You deserve to be very proud of yourself and your creations! Sending much love and gratitude!

Be good to yourself Juju and don't stress. I found your blog surfing for sketchbooks and am thrilled to have found you and your work. I'm sure it's the time of year and a certain amount of overload that is affecting you. Take some time out and do something different for a while. Take care.

Holy Moly, your daughter is so gorgeous! Like Olivia above said, your portrait of her really does blend the inner and outer worlds of her.

Don't stress. There's always a simple next step that can be taken in a relaxed way. Please tell me that's true!

What a beautiful girlie you have!
Thank you so much for the info about brushes, something Ive only tried once.
Dont worry about the work... do nothing for a while ... re-read Julia cameron's The Artist's Way or read maybe for the first time.
hang on in there

Thanks for this tutorial -- very useful!

I appreciate the effort to create the tutorial... nice job and easy to follow. Thanks! I think writing, as from a journal, would also make a good brush. This will be way fun to explore!

Are you having post CPS article depression? I always go in the dumps after a new book comes out. Good time to hunker down, eat chocolate, and sleep a lot. Take care and blessings... R

Wow, thanks for sharing this tutorial! I have to try this soon, I have always wanted to learn to do this. Great pics of your dauther, too. Love that you made the brushes from their art work--great idea.

If you give a lot (like you do - with your creativity and inspiration) it stands to reason that you'll feel tired and overstetched sometimes.

There's no hurry and you'll be ready as a soon as you're ready :)

I love your blog! Thank you so much for the wonderful tutorial. I wish my scanner was working so I could try this. I'm dying to learn more about using photoshop. You are very much appreciated. Take care.

You blog is lovely and I love your artwork.

It's time for a little R&R Mother's Day is comming up I hate the commercialism of it all but its the one time of the year that Mum's get a little mothering. I love the idea that in this tutorial you have used your childrens art work, they must feel comforted and supported, I hope you do too even a little bases on all the good wishes everyone sends.

You even produce attractive offspring as well as bags!!
Hope order is restored soon. Chill.
