I love deadlines; I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.

You people are so nice when a girl is out in the woods by herself wondering what the f*** she is trying to paint. Thank you for all your comments. (Oh and we'll see about the prints. I use a variety of paint makers but all tube colour. I just bought some Holbein today, as it happens.)
Somehow, I seem to have even less time to paint since David has arrived. How can this be? More laundry, more cooking, more guilt. I will overcome this, I promise.
But I might have trouble overcoming this. How about we just don't talk about it. Pretend it doesn't exist. Pretend that it is not made of chocolate and raspberries and that it is not Divine. Okay with you?
Today I am missing my favourite antique fair so that I would have time to blog and maybe do some painting. I don't need more stuff anyway and seeing it will make me believe I do.
I'm slipping in a painting I did before Dave arrived. A bit of a cheat I know but I'll get busy in my tent this week.
What's this about a tent? I paint in a tent overlooking the lake. Kinda magical for a London girl, eh? Even a Canadian one.
beautiful painting. I think that one may be my favorite so far, although it is difficult to choose. lovely cake as well!!
