To find a friend one must close one eye. To keep him - two.

Getting ready to go painting with Chloe Cheese in Whitstable this weekend. The paints have been away for a few weeks, while I got on with other stuff, so I'm having a little play to get back into it today.
I'm filling slide files with colour scraps, an idea from Lynne Perrella's Alphabetica. Orange is probably my most difficult colour. Difficult isn't the right word. Orange is the colour I'm least likely to dip my brush into, let's say.
While I'm crazy for blue's they usually tend towards purple so here I am getting my groove on with cooler blues and crisp white.
This is so much fun. I could fill a lot of slide folders this way! But if I'm going to do that I'd better get a move on. See ya!
Me, I'm a blue person too.
Great colour scraps.
While I don't recognize the some of the other money, I do know the face of Sandy McTire on your Canadian tire $$$ and I see the Canadian stamps too, all in time for Canada Day this weekend.

I'm getting woozy looking at those. They're so perfectly beautiful, and of course, I just love the orangey-reds!
I've got some extra Baseball card sleeves that I keep my Kool-aid packets in for dyeing. Looks like a fun, ongoing, little-at-a-time project.

I'm a blue girl as opposed to orange all the way but I'm learning to be more flexible. I still never wear orange but I will dip the brush...occasionally.
Is that what they call that guy, Sandy McTire?

Juju, these look great! I imagine it's very easy to loose track of time once you get under way. In have to try it!
PS: I have problems with orange - maybe one day I'll suddenly like it. It happened with mushrooms...
