what does a pirate knit with?
"Yaaaarrrrrrrn!"
Thank you to Lisa Whiting for that knitting joke
This makes me happy...
So, so happy!
I'm going to get Kumiko Sudo's Omiyage book for my daughter, for Christmas. I think she needs it, don't you?
Today's inspiration: The cozy feeling I had last night, hand-sewing with my daughter, in front of the fire. I don't mean to be smug. Just some moments are perfect.
Likes: Hand sewing
Dislikes: bottled water; more rubbish.
Your bag looks so nice. I bought that book, too but haven't made anything from it yet - you're inspiring me to get sewing!

I didn't want to be one of the random lurkers that annoyed me too -- hence the comment. Lovely blog. I appreciate the advice about magnets near computers screens. My little one is getting near that age. I clicked on the link from Snowbooks, btw, just in case you're still wondering. The dolls are breathtaking.

Juju I love your likes and dislikes. Such a great addition to an already brilliant blog. I have a stand at the Gracelands fair this weekend. Do you have one? Are you going?

A friend of mine has that Omiyage book and I think it is brilliant. I'll have to check out that other one - it looks interesting too. I don't often make things from the books I buy, but I get lots of inspiration that might lead to making other things combining elements of what I've seen in the books.
