People always ask me, 'Were you funny as a child?' Well, no, I was an accountant.

Orange!
Love this from Flea Market Style.
Thinking maybe I could use a little orange action in my life.
So me and my camera went for an eye-spy-orange walk. Me and my camera think there's not a lot of orange in London in February unless it's part of a sign or construction works. Not nice orange really.
But it's amazing how much Photoshop can cheer everything up.
I thought I hated orange and blue together. Maybe I don't.
Sometimes just a bit of orange is all that's needed.
Today's inspiration: The challenging but cheerful colour, Orange.
Likes: Playing with Photoshop.
Dislikes: The Guardian craft supplement. There is no real difference between yesterday's varnished rock pets and today's Ipod cozies. Stop being so smug. Anyone else irritated by this?
I kept wanting not to be irritated by it, and, admittedly, did find a couple of things useful, but yeah... I did get a bit stabby about it...
Funny you should go orange today, I found the most perfect orange-y tin in a charity shop at lunch. Will try to remember to post a picture of it, but you'd love it!
Hope you're well

I just want to make the rug-with-a-dog. My boyfriend claims the dog doesn't miraculously appear when you make the rug, but I like to think differently!

Very irritated. Binned it almost straight away. Won't even use it for papier mache.

Ha! I had a similar thought. I liked a couple of the things, but much of it was horrible.

I didn't see it but I can imagine... and I thought I was the only cranky one about all the so-called craft. Cringe.

well, now that you have introduced me to it, yes! it is irritating. i like the comment above by Jane - tee heeing here.
something all to smug and un-useful about most of that crap. just because you can doesn't mean you should!

I continue to be perplexed by the proliferation of cozies as craft project.
Ipod cozies, cell phone cozies, sex-toy cozies...do these items lose heat, and need furry jackets?
I can't manage to assemble enough time to craft garments for myself. The personal electronics can remain naked!

Everyone's experiencing blog synchronicity!
I am planning the decor for the room I'm moving into this spring. I definitely want orange for the first time in my life. And lime green.
