The garage told me they couldn't repair my brakes, so they just made my horn louder.
Actually that's not true; my garage wouldn't do that for me so I'm now carless. We are joining a car club. All very good environmentally but I do feel a little like I'm leaving adulthood behind and going back to a time and place where you have to borrow your parents car.
I haven't disappeared, I've just been very busy. That's the problem with freelance work; all the little loose ends can get in a tangle. Sometimes you just have to get your head down and get to work. Bummer, eh?
(Gettit? Bummer.)
This is the original bag pattern from the Onishi Junko book from which I've been adapting my designs from.
The cover has this bag on it
And the ISBN is 4-529-04173-5 (you can see more of it on the Buzzville site I linked to).
I'm still working on a bag pattern and tutorial for you all. Expect something in time for March break crafting. And I'll do a little photoshop song and dance too.
Today's inspiration: I'm going nuts over Nina's beautiful black and white photography. It's tempting me to give up a little of my colour.
Likes: Crochet. Watch Woolly Bullies on Youtube if you are a secret crochet lover. I'm working on some crochet at the moment and it's fun wielding just the one needle for a change.
Dislikes: Nothing in my wardrobe fits. Either I have to lose weight or buy new clothes. I don't see either happening.
ditto on the weight thing. It's amazing how much difference a few stupid pounds can make.

Great bags again! Spring is always full of great designs ideas in candy colours! Thanks for yours!
I think the car club is a great idea. I don't have a car. In fact I don't drive in England at all: everybody is "on the wrong side of the road". And has been for 13 years. I've got a bike instead though since last month, might even help me fit in my clothes too.

OK Wooly bullies are a real gas!
If only I could find a man to sit, knit and chat to life would be perfect.
The bags are great, but I must admit I like the extra touches you have added - the beads and piping!

It looks like bag made from the pattern from the book would be difficult to get into. I like your adaptions to the pattern better, and definitely they shine with the added piping and beads.
I love your color just as much as Nina's black and white. Both of you post images that feed me richly.

I have been a member of a car share organization now for 4 years. Its popularity here in Philadelphia has really taken off. Bravo to thinking about being a sharer instead of an owner!
Love your purses!!!

Your bags are so fun & funky! I really enjoy looking at them!
Also, I love the name of your blog. My little sister's childhood nickname was JuJu, but we since shortened it to Ju. LOL.
And, guess what? I'll be in London for 10 days next month. Can't wait to see the museums, especially the Tate Modern. And, I REALLY can't wait to see my favourite band, Porcupine Tree play at the Forum... =:)

Both bags are stunning! Hope you loose ends weave themselves in nicely soon.

Those bags are gorgeous. So looking forward to seeing your tutorial and crochet.
Cute teeny butt!

Your bags are absolutely gorgeous!
I know how you feel about that few extra pounds. I usually do a really good job eating healthy from 9a.m to 7p.m. Monday to Friday. It's when 8p.m. creeps up at night when I start to crave sweets. Ok, I gave in again tonight. I'm now eating another cup of jello and I'm already thinking about the almond pound cake I baked last night
Good Luck! By the way, I love your blog and all your designs.
Take Care!
