Look at Cher. One more face lift and she'll be wearing a beard.

Today's post is dedicated to Julie Arkell. I know many people find my blog when they do a Julie search. Julie still hasn't entered the age of computer technology.
She is currently showing some of her beautiful work in the window of Loop.
Well worth the visit! The combination of Julie's figures surrounded by yarn and the cozy home spun feel of Loop is perfect. I think it is only there for a month so hurry!
I'll try and get some pictures of the window soon, for those of you who don't live around here.
Today's Inspiration: Art and Ghosts I just want to look and look and look!
Likes: England in the Spring. It is the one time of year I'm glad to be here and not in Canada.
Dislikes: I really am running out of things to dislike.
her work is utterly charming and i love it! i have never seen it - thank you juju for the introduction.

Love the quotes and the "girl pretending to be a bunny". I am not sure if I like the whimsical character or the name best!

Hello, thank you for this! I too am an Arkell fan. Infact I was very fortunate to purchase a doll last year. I find her work inspiring - I would love to get from Cambridge to London to visit Loop as I am often oogling at their site. Lovely blog - glad to have found you and will be reading lots from here on.
