Thirty is a nice age for a woman. Especially if she happens to be forty.
Phyllis Diller
I still seem a little obsessed with this age thing, don't I?
I'm not really. I'm more obsessed with my chubby lines.
The face in this digital self-portrait is borrowed from an illustration my son did of me "with all the chubby lines drawn in". Thanks Quinte. I will never be the svelte young girl with balloon.
I'm having great bunny dreams lately. Last night a little guy like this
popped up in my dream. He was called a Rooster Rabbit and wore glasses that were glued to his face. He could also speak in sentences of exactly four words. I was all prepared to get up and get me a rooster rabbit.
Here's another rabbit image I made about a month ago.
Working with those doll photos I took I while ago again and probably a little inspired by Art and Ghosts work.
Today's inspiration: Neil Gaiman. I'm rapidly reading my way through his books.
Likes: Licorice tea.
Dislikes: my dislikes list. It has self-imploded and will cease to exist.
Sigh.... My four-year-old daughter draws my mom "with all the lines on her face." Out of the mouths of babes.... I can't wait 'til she does that to me!

'Chubby Lines?' Just hope they get married & have kids when they grow up.... then you can do what my Mum does and stand there sniggering when their child says all the things to them that they said to you (and then some!!!!)

I am addicted to licorice tea - even sucked a tea bag once to prove to my husband how deeply I love it. I think chubby-lined, licorice lovin', women in their forties rock....well, I am one.

hmmm, chubby lines take a bit of getting used to. at 49, i still cringe and 'delete' most photos, sadly.
i reckon 50 will help me come to grips with that piece, or not.
how did this 32 yr old get trapped into my body?
your rabbits are inspiring!

Have you decided to not dislike anything or just decided not to keep a list of the dislikes?
If you've stopped disliking things, drop me a line and let me know how you did it. :)
