I made this little fellow a while ago when I had more ceramic time, but I only just got his hair planted. I like him more now that he has hair.

Hi juju, I have been wondering how you create that effect with your ceramics? Do you use brown clay then cover it with white slip and use a sgrafito technique? Does the white just rub off in places as you work? I love the style!

Hi Holly, Yup it's just a bit of sgraffito through white slip. I scratch and burnish too. I have no idea what I'm doing, just messing around.
